- Peel the plantain, wash, cut in small cubes and pour in the pot.
- Pour a cup or 2 of water or till the water covers the top of the plantain a little.

- Once cooked pour in the uguh, stir and leave to simmer for 2 mins.
- Your meal is ready.
This meal (unripe plantain pottage) is very rich in iron and highly recommended for diabetic patients. The cold weather is slowly creeping in. According to game of thrones, Winter is coming, I think it is almost here!!!. For Lunch I wanted to have something warm with a little bit of sauce in it.
