  1. Sieve maida with baking powder, baking soda & keep aside.
  2. In a baking tin, line it with parchment paper/butter paper & keep it aside, preheat the oven to 160°c
  3. In a bowl take butter, add sugar to it & beat it for 2min, then add condensed milk & mix well.
  4. Then add orange zest, vanilla essence & fresh cream mix it nicely, then add sieved maida mixture & gradually add orange pulp & make a batter.
  5. Pour the batter in a baking tin, place blueberry compote on the batter randomly & with a spoon or a toothpick swirl it, then bake it in a preheated oven for 45min over 160°c. Coil should be both sides & place the tin on lower rack.
  6. Check the cake once after 40min, by inserting a toothpick, if it comes out clean remove it from the oven & cool it for atleast 3 hours before slicing it.
  7. Enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.

It's a lovely cake for a weekend bake and is great as an afternoon tea cake too. This fluffy Orange Cake made with fresh orange juice and orange zest gives it that perfect amount of orange flavor.
