- Soak the broken wheat for 2 hours in water.Strain the water and blend the mix with 1/4 th -1/2 cup of water.
- Melt the jaggery with enough water, strain and add it to the broken wheat mix.
- Add crushed cardamoms, 2 tablespoons of rice powder and grated coconut to the mix.
- Grease the cast iron Appam pan/ Non-stick pan with enough ghee - Take spoonfuls of the mix and add it to the appam wells.Flip it on both the sides till well done and serve hot with lots of love
I am using same tempering which i had earlier used for making rava masala dosa. I love the flavors of onion and curry leaves in that so i am adding that to wheat and sooji mix.
