- Prepare 1 . Pineapple - 1 and half cup cubed
- Make ready 2 . Red chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
- Prepare 3 . Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn

- Take 5 . Greenchilli - 2 or more
- Prepare 6 . Curd - 12 tbspn

- Prepare For Seasoning:
- Get 1 . Coconut oil - 3 tbspn
- Get 2 . Dry red chilli - 3
- Take 3 . Mustard seeds - 1/2 tspn
- Take 4 . Some curry leaves
- Take 5 . Fenugreek seeds - 1 pinch
- Prepare 6 . Red chilli powder - 2 pinch
It is popular in the southern Indian state of Kerala. Pineapple pulissery is prepared using ripe pineapple and it is served as a side dish with rice during sadhyas. This pulissery is prepared on all special occasions and is integral part of a traditional Kerala. Pineapple pulissery is a famous traditional dish of Keralites.
Instructions to make Pineapple pulissery:
- In a deep pan, add pineapple, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, greenchilli, some curry leaves, water and salt. Mix well and cook until pineapple turns to soft and tender on low flame.
- Grind coconut and cumin seeds to a fine paste by adding a tbspn of water.
- Add this coconut paste to the cooked pineapple. Mix it and allow it to boil on a low flame.
- Just grind the curd in a grinder without adding water.
- Pour the curd into the pineapple mix and combine well. Switch off the flame. Do not boil it. Keep aside.
- For Seasoning - - * In a small frying pan, heat coconut oil. Add mustard seeds, when it start to splutter add fenugreek seeds, dry red chilli, curry leaves and mix well. Add red chilli powder and switch off the flame. Mix well. - * Pour this over the prepared pineapple pulissery and mix well. Cover it for 5 or 10 minutes and serve it with rice.
This is very tasty and goes well with rice. Usually we serve this sweet pulissery for sadyas. This is very special because it contains.
