Be it in a simple tea stall or a hi-fi restaurant. Drain the water completely from the dal with a colander. Repeat with the rest of the shaped vada mixture. The street vendors in Kerala generally sell paruppu vadai with a thick coconut chutney which is delicious so I made the same.

Instructions to make Parippu vada(kerla style):
  1. Soak the lentil for overnight.next morning wash it and drain the water.
  2. Take a mixi jar add lentil cruse the lentil paste without any adding water to the coarse mixture.
  3. Take a one bowl add lentil crush mixture and all ingredients and mix it.
  4. Make a small lemon size balls from this mixture using your plams and like a Vada.
  5. Heat a sufficient oil in a pan. Now add Vada flip and fry until golden brown on both sides.Drian out in a absorbent paper.
  6. Parippu Vada Serve hot with tomato ketchup and any chatuney.
