  3. Now pour cornflour water amd continue to stir until the mixture starts thiken.
  4. Now pour 1tsp lemon juice and continue to stir, further add 2tsp gheeand continue to mix, mix until the mixture starts absorb ghee well.
  5. Keep adding ghee in batches until it absorb completely.
  6. Once the mixture turns glossy, Now add 1/4tsp red food color and mix well.
  7. Niw add cardmom powder and almonds. Now add 1tsp ghee and continue to stir until mixture starts release ghee.
  8. Transfer the mixture into the tray. Sprinkle few chopped nuts and level up.
  9. Rest for 30 minutes or until the halwa is set completely.
  10. Finally, cut halwa into pieces and serve.
  11. We can refrigerated it for 2 wreaks.

I have tried corn flour halwa with milk as suggested by Shalini. But I haven't tried Mumbai Karachi halwa style.
