- Put olive oil into a cold pan, add chopped onion and heat gently, increase heat slowly and cook until translucent. Add tomatoes, chilli, tomato paste and garlic. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 mins.

- Season the sauce. Drain the pasta.
- Add the pasta to the sauce, stir to coat and serve.
