Suya or tsire is a spicy meat skewer which is a popular food item in West Africa. It is also eaten in Sudan, referred to as "Agashe". Suya is generally made with skewered beef, ram, or chicken. Innards such as kidney, liver and tripe are also used.

  1. To make the suya spice; mix all the above mentioned ingredients together and set aside. Soak the skewers in water for a while. This is to prevent them from burning while grilling the meat.   2. Thread the meat pieces into the skewers.
