- Heat clarified butter in a pan.
- Add cumin seeds and garlic cloves fry till dark brown.
- Tempered the dal,serve hot.
You can make palak dal with either toor dal or moong dal(or even masoor dal). Palak palle or palak dal is also familiar by name palak byali in north Karnataka. Palak palle or palak dal prepared using palak leaves and toor dal. This palak dal resembles Andhra style palak kura.
