  1. In a large bowl. Combine the first 4 ingredients. Let stand 1 hour. In a small bowl. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Let stand until creamy. About 10 minutes.
  2. Pour yeast into the oat mixture. Add 2 cups of flour. Mix well. Stir in remaining flour half cup at a time. When dough has pulled together. Turn it on lightly floured surface and knead until smooth about 20 minutes. I left the mixer do the work. Cover with a damp cloth. Allow to rise in a warm place until doubled. About 1 hour.
  3. Deflate dough. Turn it out onto lightly floured surface. Divide dough into 2 equal parts. Form into loaves. Place loaves into a lightly greased 9x5" loaf pans. Cover and let rise until doubled in volume. About 40 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 350º. Bake for about 30 minutes. Until top is golden Brown. Remove loaves from pan. Brush loaves with 2 Tbsp. Honey. Then sprinkle with couple oats on top.
