Instructions to make Plain Moong Dal Dosa:
- First mix moongdal and rice and wash it 2-3 times in a big bowl and soak it in water for 3-4 hours.
- After 3-4 hours drain the water from soaked moong dal and rice. Add asafoetidi, salt and some water (as required) and grind it.
- Heat oil on a non-stick tawa on high flame. Once the tawa is hot, reduce the flame to slow.
- Pour a ladle of batter in center of tawa and spread it in a circular motion i.e. from center to outer corners of the tawa and drizzle 1/2 tsp of oil around the dosa.
- Cook it for 2-3 minutes. When the top side of the dosa appears to dry, flip the dosa to the other side and drizzle 1/2 tsp of oil on the dosa and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- When both sides of dosa are cooked, fold it in round shape and transfer it into a plate.
- Repeat the same procdure for preparing all dosas.
