  1. Take 1 cup Sabudana(sago)
  2. Get 2-4 boiled potato
  3. Get 1/4 cup roasted Cashew/peanuts pieces
  4. Take To taste Rock salt
  5. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  6. Make ready 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  7. Take 1 teaspoon aamchur(dry mango) powder
  8. Get As needed Ghee/oil for fry

Sabudana vada is a popular recipe for vrats/fasts as it contains no onion and garlic. Sabudana (also known as sago or tapioca) is one of the most common ingredients used for making recipes for vrats. Steps to make Sabudana vada sago:
  1. Soak sago(sabudana) in water for 5 hours at least ya overnight. I soaked sago overnight.
  2. Then drain off all the water from the soaked sabudana. Drain the water very well. When properly soaked, the sabudana pearl should get mashed when pressed. If you feel some hardness in the center, then soak for some more time.
  3. Take sago in bowl add boiled potato and cashewnuts/peanut small pieces
  4. Add cumin powder,salt,black pepper powder and mango powder
  5. All items mixed well
  6. Now take some portion of the mixture in your hands and shape them into a flat round vada or patty. Do this till all the mixture is utilized
  7. Heat the oil in pan and gently place the ball in hot oil.fly that at medium flame.Do not overcrowd while frying.
  8. Continue fry until the colour of vada is golden
  9. . After Remove fried sabudana vada with a slotted spoon draining the extra oil.
  10. And serve with curd ya mango sweet chutney.
