- Prepare Dosa
- Get 1 Cup Whole Moong
- Take 2-3 tsp Rice Or 2-3 tsp rice flour
- Take 1 green chilli
- Get 1 inch ginger
- Prepare 1/2 tsp jeera
- Prepare 1/2 tsp coriander leaves
- Take as per taste Salt
- Get Stuffing
- Take 100 gm grated paneer
- Get 1 big chopped onion
- Prepare 1 chopped green chilli
- Take as required Chopped coriander leaves (optional)
- Make ready as per taste Salt
- Get as per taste Red chilli powder
- Prepare As required Chat masala (optional)
- Make ready as per required Oil for roasting
You'll surely relish eating these mouth drooling, crispy. The moong dal / payatham paruppu in the recipe makes the dosa's very light and easy to digest and they are very tasty too. Wash the moong dal and fenugreek seeds. Moong Dal Dosa is popularly as Pesarattu in Andhra Pradesh.
Steps to make Moong Dal Dosa:
- Wash whole moong with 2-3 water and soak them for 7-8 hours. If you are using rice in this recipe then soak it along with moong.
- Transfer moong and rice to grinding jar, add green chilli, ginger and coriander leaves. Grind them until semi-thick and consistency same as regular dosa batter. (I had coriander leaf paste so I added after grinding)
- Now add salt.
- If you did not add rice while soaking moong then now add rice flour along with salt.
- Mix stuffing section ingredients.
- Heat tawa, sprinkle 2-3 drops of water & wipe with tissue so tawa temperature will come down now pour ladle full moog dal batter in the center of tawa and quickly spread it. Sprinkle 4-5 drops of oil. And roast it.
- Spread stuffing on the dosa and gently press it. Fold the dosa and transfer to serving plate.
