Ivy gourd or kundru is one such interesting vegetable that has natural tangy taste and responds really well to chutney recipes. And what is more interesting, that kundru can be eaten raw as well. Tindora is originated from Africa and Asia and instead of tindora, the name ivy gourd is more commonly used worldwide. The young tindora fruit is like a tiny cucumber but the mature fruit will turn.

- Heat a teaspoon of Oil. Add asafoetida and ginger garlic paste. Followed by green chillies and tomatoes. Saute with all the spices added. And finally add Ivy Gourd slices. Keep it covered. Do not cook for a long time. The raw smell should be gone. That's it. Squeeze a medium sized Lemon on top and take it off the heat.
- After done, transfer everything to a blender to get a smooth paste. Add the tempering on top and serve it with Plain boiled rice, Pulaos, Chapatis, Rotis and even as a dip for Pakoras and Bhajiyas.
