- Once the kolukattais are cooked, add the jaggery into the pot
- It should start to disintegrate and thicken the liquid
- Give this 5 mins and add the coconut milk, grated coconut and cardamom
- Let it rest for a few minutes and serve!
Our grand mom used to make this often and we used to enjoy it as kids. Actually her Kolukattai balls used to be bigger in size and not perfect balls. Paal kozhukattai is one of my hubby's favourite sweets. I hardly remember the way my mom used to make this sweet,also I was not fond of this before marriage. After we came here to Singapore,when we go yearly to my in-laws place,my MIL made this sweet twice or thrice especially for her son(for me too.
